Being a traffic police in China is busy work.

Not only do they have to speak good English, they also have to arrest people who do weird stunts.

A recent July 15, 2017, video from Haikou, Hainan's capital province, showed a motorcyclist faking a spirit possession dance just to get out of being fined.

The man had failed to adhere to traffic rules andcould be seen trying to escape from getting charged by a group of Chinese traffic police officers.

At first, he defended himself by saying: "I'm a worker, I'm a worker, I'm not doing anything wrong."

But when it didn't work, he began singing and dancing erratically on the streets as if he were possessed, obstructing the traffic nearby.

"Pretending you're an ancient spirit is actually a ritual in Hainan. Commonly known to call upon these ancient spirits, when the spirit enters your body through this ritual, you'll be so full of supernatural energy that ordinary people cannot come close to you. There's a temple in Haikou that still has this ritual...Okay I can't fabricate this story anymore"
