Lee Hsien Yang and his wife, Lee Suet Fern, flew to Hong Kong on Sunday, June 25, in the midst of the ongoing Lee family feud over the fate of the late Lee Kuan Yew's house at 38 Oxley Road.

According to a Hong Kong media outlet, the couple arrived at Hong Kong International Airport today via a Cathay Pacific flight.

When asked, Hsien Yang was quoted telling Hong Kong media that he was there to visit a friend and declined to comment on his ongoing feud with his brother, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. He also declined to tell reporters when he would be leaving Hong Kong.

Hsien Yang ignited the public feud with his brother Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on June 14 in an open letter jointly issued by him and his sister, Lee Wei Ling. In the letter, Hsien Yang had stated that he had the intention to leave Singapore.

Here's what he said:

“It is with a very heavy heart that I will leave Singapore for the foreseeable future. This is the country that my father, Lee Kuan Yew, loved and built. It has been home for my entire life. Singapore is and remains my country. I have no desire to leave. Hsien Loong is the only reason for my departure.”

So far, Hsien Yang has not made known his country of choice to move to.

Nonetheless, Hong Kong is a country that Suet Fern regularly travels to for business. Last week, her firm, Morgan Lewis Stamford announced that she was stepping down as the firm's managing partner, while retaining her role as head of the international leadership team, which sees her spending time in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

It remains to be seen if Hong Kong will be the couple's new home.
