One of the latest productions from Nat Geo Wild with more than 18,000 shares chronicles a fierce fight between a snake and a gecko, and it is intense AF.

The three-year-old gecko is locked in mortal combat with a snake 11 times his length. The determined gecko has a simple strategy: to bite the snake's jaws for all its worth, so that its predator cannot eat it.

But it's a risky strategy, because the snake can deliver venom by repeatedly biting the top of the gecko's head.

But the gecko has its own defense - he can close off the blood supply to his broken skin, so that the venom cannot penetrate.

Unfortunately, the gecko cannot maintain its bite forever, and it loses its grip on the snake at one point. By now, the snake's bite has cut so deep that the gecko's constricting blood vessels have become useless.

But the gecko eventually regains its bite on the snake. By now, everyone is already rooting for the resilient gecko, who has already lost its tail from a previous fight.
