Explosions rock East Jakarta bus terminal, body parts found at scene

Social media posting scenes of carnage.

Two confirmed explosions occured at Kampung Melayu bus terminal in East Jakarta at about 9pm Jakarta time.

According to ChannelNews Asia, there were two deaths, including the suspected bomber.

The Straits Times reported that an Indonesian policeman was also injured.

Photos and videos that have been circulating on social media show dismembered body parts and human flesh littered at the scene of the bombing.

As of writing, #KampungMelayu and #PrayForJakarta are trending with more than 24,000 tweets.

The bombing in Jakarta comes hot on the heels of a terror attack in Manchester, UK, which claimed the lives of 22 victims. ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the Manchester attack.
