Luxury housing project built in Pakistan looks absolutely amazing. And familiar.

TIL, we are in Pakistan.

Gwadar is located in Pakistan.

A bit out of the way from Singapore.

5,000 km out of the way from Singapore.

Which means you are never going to mistakenly end up there on the way to Yishun.

With that being said, if we were to go off on what is being advertised on Gwadar Central housing society, we could practically be twins.

Here is their Facebook post.

Heck, there is a freaking Merlion in the picture.

And a Singapore flag.

So, either Gwadar's landscape is planned by a Singapore otaku, or more likely, that's Singapore.

So, why would this residential building use a Singaporean landscape?

*Giant shrug of ignorance*

But this isn't the first time Gwadar has been linked to Singapore.

It is, or is going to be, a port city.

And till 2013, their port was actually run by the port authority of Singapore (PSA), before being transferred to a China firm.

Not only that, in a think piece publishd in 2016 on a prominent Pakistani website, this is what they had envisioned for Gwadar in the near future.

Which is an understandable comparison if you style yourself as a small, dynamic, port based territory.

But, the Facebook post not only fails to mention that the picture is of Singapore, they've been deleting any comments pointing it out.

Here is a screenshot of now deleted comments.

Whelp.
