Public transport requires some give and take from everyone.
This is one instance where that balance was not struck.
Here is the video Sure Boh Singapore uploaded of NYPD man berating guy with phone.
According to the video, NYPD man was shouting at phone guy because he had allegedly been talking non-stop while NYPD man was trying to sleep.
Now, put aside the fact that trying to find peace and quiet on public transport is the epitome of futility, perhaps a moderately toned request would have been more conducive than straight up shouting at a man.
He also slapped the phone out of the man's hand multiple times.
Perhaps we should have Don't be a douche Derrick.
