Grab advises passenger not to use profile pic of him in trunks as driver uncomfortable

If you have it, flaunt it. It's his prerogative.

In what is perhaps the strangest turn of events, a Grab passenger in Singapore said he received a call from Grab's customer service personnel advising him as a passenger to not put up a profile picture of himself in a one-piece trunk/ briefs/ underwear/ whitey-tighties as it made a driver uncomfortable.

Let's paraphrase that: Grab's customer service personnel told a customer to change his profile picture because a driver felt that it was not appropriate.

The post, as seen above, was posted in the GrabHitch Singapore Community Facebook group on April 11.

And naturally, some people in the comments section were confused as they thought the man who was told to remove his picture was a Grab driver:

And of course, to be clear, the one-piece man who got the call from Grab clarified that he is the paying rider, not the driver.

The good thing is that other people in the group commiserated with him and praised him for his confidence:

We have reached out to Grab to verify if what the passenger claimed is true.

We'll update this article when we hear from them.
