A harrowing 27-second video showing what it is like for a motorcyclist to crash head on into a van that spun out of control on the expressway has been posted on Facebook:
The accident happened along the Pan Island Expressway near Clementi Ave 6 exit in the direction towards Changi on Jan. 28 at around 5.45pm.
The video showed the speed of the bike at the moment of the crash to be about 90kmh as it was travelling on the right-most lane.
According to the post, the motorcyclist said he is temporarily handicapped as a result of the accident.
He suffered a head and left shoulder contusion, and left hip fracture and will probably have lifelong headaches.
