This might be the saddest story you read in 2017.

Twitter user Alson was cycling home after dabao-ing some food.

It was a McSpicy meal.

Regardless of the stinging after-effects the McSpicy might have post-digestion, most would agree that the sensation of biting into the tender, juicy slab of chicken cutlet, and releasing the first spurt of that familiar spiciness is worth the trials we face later.

But we digress.

Alson was cycling back home, along Yishun, eagerly looking forward to enjoying his McSpicy while watching his show.

It would be no hyperbole to claim that he was, at that moment, among the three happiest men in Singapore.

However, just as he was nearing home... the incident happened.

The bag had somehow gotten caught in his bike's chain, burst apart, and was now smeared all over the road.
