What a talented director and actor.

In the age of internet romance, nothing is impossible, much less inconceivable.

Virtual girlfriends/boyfriends are fast becoming run-of-the-mill, with hardly anyone batting an eyelid at the mention of them (save for the inward judging).

What happens, however, when your virtual girlfriend happens to be a real person as well? Confusing, we know.

Introducing Wen Hong

wen hong

This is Wen Hong. He has a girlfriend.

They have been together for two years, and it is a relationship marked by mushy, tender exchanges on Facebook.

Note: The girl featured in the screenshots above in his profile is his best friend, not girlfriend. Or "girlfriend".

Here's the "girlfriend"

facebook posts

Meet Chiang, Wen Hong's "girlfriend" of two years. Except she doesn't know it. Not until recently, anyway.

The Catch

As it turns out, Wen Hong had been stealing Chiang's photos to create an entirely new Facebook profile.

Chiang only found out about this impersonation recently (four days ago, to be exact) through a friend, and does not know him personally.

She has since created a post warning the public about him, but Wen Hong apparently reported her original account and got it (temporarily) banned to keep the exposé under wraps.

Naturally, she confronted him. The following conversation ensued:

To sum it up, Wen Hong apologised, but could not provide a valid reason for his actions.

It is also noteworthy that his apology seems insincere, and may possibly be undertaken in hopes that Chiang removes her warning post.

Yes, this means that all the mushy Facebook posts above were orchestrated by Wen Hong. We're not sure what to think of him as a person, but he seems like a pretty loving girlfriend.
