If you've ever wanted to read a story that perfectly captures the Internet's best, and worst sides, look no further.
Facebook user Lorraine Cheong was recently looking for help with one of her modules.
And obviously, the best place to ask for help would be, of course, the Internet.
That's what she did, and soon enough, a helpful guy started to direct message (DM) her, we'll call him Oz, offering to help because he had apparently taken the module before.
Here is the conversation between them.
First the man started off slow, highlighting the difficulties he faced helping her.
The only way to predict the request he would eventually make was the smirky emoji.
For future reference, if anyone sends you this emoji, there's a 79.3% chance he is planning to ask for a blowjob.
The conversation carried on, with Oz being rather coy about the request, and Cheong being visibly irritated.
Finally, Cheong asked him to stop beating around the bush, leading to the reveal of what he wanted in return to help her in a module.
A blowjob.
That is, if Cheong is satisfied with his tution services.
Now really read Cheong's response, and see if you can smell the sarcasm coming out of it.
The sarcasm is palpable. In fact, it is safe to say that perhaps only 1 person in Singapore won't be able to detect the sarcasm.
Unfortunately, it was the same guy that started the conversation.
He suddenly realised the unreasonableness of his offer, but still felt that there is a price to pay for a service he provided.
Cheong's Facebook post says it all.
Like are you serious bro? What I wanted was just some clarifications for a small part of the module. I wonder why do some guys show so little respect for girls. Do you even know what is shame?
Let this be a warning to those who expect something in return for helping someone.
For this is indeed a price to pay if you think of all consequences in a cost and benefit manner.
