70 people searched S'pore nature areas for hiker missing for 2 days since Friday afternoon

He is known to go hiking every day.

An avid hiker, Steward Lee Goon Hong, has been missing since Friday afternoon, Feb. 17, triggering a search for him in Singapore's parks and nature areas.

A search party of more than 70 people looked for Lee on Sunday morning, two days after he was last seen.

The search party comprised police officers, park rangers, family and friends.

The 27-year-old went missing on Friday afternoon. His family made a police report on Friday night.

The police put up a missing person alert on its Facebook page on Saturday afternoon appealing for information on Lee.

The 1.79-metre-tall man was last seen at Blk 407, Fajar Rd at around 2pm on Friday. He was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

He reportedly left his mobile phone at home but always informed his family if he was staying out.

He is known to go hiking every day.
