Takeaway, or Tapao-ing is quite an established practice in our society.
It is great for a busy day, and sometimes you can even choose the type of container you tapao your food.
You could perhaps get it in a styrofoam box, or plastic container or transparent glove.
Like such.
The third one only applies for this particular encounter though.
Nasi Glove-reng
In a post that is making the rounds in Singapore, a man absent-mindedly agreed to a hawker's request to use "whatever plastic he could find".
The hawker more than kept his end of the bargain.
Dead.
The story seems to have originated from Malaysia.
But there are some lessons for us to takeaway.
Namely, we must all never succumb to complacency, and refrain from giving ourselves a big hand.
Especially one with fried rice in it.
