One of the iconic moments from the first Harry Potter film was when a genuinely frightening number of owls tried to deliver Harry's acceptance letter to Hogwarts.

Temasek Poly had its own semi-magical moment recently, when an owl flew into the school building.

Twitter user Tiq, posted this video of said owl in poly.

No one knew exactly how it got in, but the consensus over where it came from was quite clear.

The owl's escape was far from magical though.

According to Tiq, it had slammed into a window pane while trying to escape.

Which probably explains this face.

But fret not, we called Temasek Poly, and they confirmed that the owl had flown off safely away from institutionalised education.

A happy ending.

Because if there's one thing fans of Harry Potter will know, nothing bad ever happens to owls, ever, even in the last book.
