Have you ever wondered why some people take so long in the toilet?
A possible reason could be gleaned from something Ho Ching recently shared on her Facebook page.

Now, the post brings up some interesting points that are relevant to Singaporeans -- chief of all, the prevalence of smartphones in Singapore.
Smartphone penetration rate
According to a Deloitte survey in 2015, Singapore has the highest smartphone penetration rate.

And by extension, a higher rate of penetration will lead to a longer time in the toilet.
Conversely, no penetration might discourage people from staying too long.
As for the last part of the infographic, we are not too sure what that website is, we tried to enter it, but kept being showed this page instead:

We are just going to assume it's part of Singapore's continued push to be the hub of the world.
Regardless, this infographic is a timely reminder not to be too obsessed with our phones.
