We have all had times where certain melodies or tunes get inexplicably stuck in our head, and refuse to explain themselves or get out.

We try desperately to describe the torture in our head to the world at large, but are often ignored, or worse, ridiculed.

Apps like Shazam and SoundHound attempt to help in our quest to identify these earworms, but even they aren't foolproof.

So we turn to friends
