And they're back.
Metallica will be coming back to Singapore on Jan. 22, 2017, four years after they performed to 40,000 people at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
This time round, the band will be playing at the smaller capacity Singapore Indoor Stadium. Sad but true.
Singapore will be the only Southeast Asia stop as part of the tour for their upcoming album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, to be released on Nov. 18.
This will be the third time here for the band.
Before revealing Singapore's show date, they made a surprise announcement about playing in Seoul, South Korea, on Jan. 11, 2017. This raised suspicion they could be headed back here.
Tickets will be on sale:
Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at 10am
via Sportshub Tix at www.sportshubtix.sg, at the box office at Singapore Indoor Stadium at 2 Stadium Walk, or all SingPost outlets.
The ticketing hotline is +65 3158 8588.
