Singaporean teenager Kyra Poh won the gold medal in the junior freestyle category of the 2016 Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) World Cup of Indoor Skydiving on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Warsaw, Poland.

This was despite the 14-year-old losing a shoe during her routine in the final round.

The School of the Arts (SOTA) student is also this year's Australian Championship Freestyle Open champion.

In the lead-up to the World Cup in Poland, Poh practised her indoor skydiving routines at iFly Singapore in Sentosa three times a week as part of Team Firefly Singapore.

The School of the Arts (SOTA) student, who is also this year's Australian Championship Freestyle Open champion, edged out home favourites Andrzej Soltyk and Aleksandra Soltyk convincingly, totaling 63.3 points ahead of her rival Andrzej (61.2 points) and Aleksandra (59.4 points) after nine rounds.

Six months ago, Poh and her partner Choo Yi Xuan were ranked second in the world of indoor skydiving for their mad skills.

They placed fourth for Team Firefly in the Dynamic 2-way category on Saturday.
