For the uninitiated, there was an incident that occurred in Sembawang today.

More specifically, it started at 6.40pm on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The entire fiasco began when a 39-year-old man, locked a boy inside a unit at Block 462 Sembawang Drive together with him.

The man is believed to be a friend of the boy's mother.

After 17 hours, the police finally arrested the man and secured the release of the boy.

Kudos all around.

But, this whole incident took far too long, according to some incredibly skilled netizens.

And they would have done it a hundred times better.

Well, first it is important to understand the importance of location.

And how that aura will affect people.

Next, they focused on the incompetence of the personnel at the scene.

Because the negotiators who have trained relentlessly really cannot make it.

So much so, that even dogs, or one particular dog, would have done a better job.

Quick, sign that dog up now!

They also had a few suggestions on how to secure the child's release quicker.

First of all, learn from a country that is having problems with gun control, and police brutality.

However, if snipers do not work, the reason is clear.
