Here in little old Singapore, things that may seem like a big deal to us usually form nary a blip in the consciousness of the rest of the world.

Not anymore, as we discovered that the return of our almost-annual haze (thanks, Indonesia!) have made international headlines:

4. Bloomberg: "Singapore’s Air Quality Remains Unhealthy as Haze Worsens"

8. BBC: "The haze is back across South East Asia"

It must be a slow news day when a BBC journalist had to step up as a weatherman for Singapore.

Or maybe the haze is really a big deal for non Singaporeans too.
