Bringing a slice of Bangkok's train market to you.

Before it closes for a makeover on Dec. 26 this year, the only chances you have left to visit Tanjong Pagar Railway Station are a handful of public holidays.

However, an upcoming event will be the first, and very likely, the last Thai-themed market that will be held at the iconic railway station.

Yes, you've read it right. It's Thai-themed. #yay

Aptly named the Fantastic Thai Market, the flea will feature over 100 delectable food and merchandise stalls.

The market will be held on Sept. 12, 2016, from 10am till late.

Another highlight will be the live band performances, creating the perfect background music for you while you eat and shop your way through the market.

Food trucks from Kerbside Gourmet and Kombi Rocks (known for their restored Volkswagen Kombi vans) will also be present.

We're hoping that the market at the railway station is fashioned after the famous Rot Fai Market in Bangkok, also known as Train Market (due to its location beside train tracks).

It would be awesome to have the night markets we love in Bangkok right here in Singapore -- even for a day!

Tanjong Pagar Railway Station will be closed from the end of the year till the completion of Cantonment MRT station in 2025.

This future MRT station will be built under the platform area of the old Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.
