This year's National Day has inspired some fascinating — and surprisingly elegant — creativity in the realm of hyper-local fashion from two local photographers.
And by hyper-local fashion, we mean outfits made from...
- chilli padi with black sauce packets,
- dabao (takeaway) paper packets and rubber bands (styrofoam boxes too),
- parking coupons, and
- Good Morning towels.
Take local photographer Jayden Tan's short series, for instance, called "Char Bor":

Are right. Also because he mentioned these two sources as well. They're nonetheless fairly brilliant, in our view.
