In 2009, when Joseph Schooling was a 14-year-old boy, his classmates made him do 39 push-ups in a row in class.
Now an Olympic Gold medallist on a whirlwind tour of Singapore, his classmates have made him do 83 push-ups without breaking out of pumping position because what are friends for?

The only difference between then and now is that his friends clearly love him more now, what with all that miscounting and using Michael Phelps to taunt him.
