The police haven't given much info about the StanChart robbery, so Internet steps in

No news is Internet news.

The Internet has an unquenchable thirst for information.

And when they don't get it, they tend to make up their own information.

A day after Singapore's most recent bank robbery, the Internet is turning its attention towards the Singapore Police Force, and what they perceive as lack of information in real time.

Here are the three most pressing questions everyone seems to be asking that the police has not given a concrete answer for -- and what the Internet has already answered.

1. What does he look like?

This is, understandably so, one of the most asked questions floating around on the Internet.

It seems like a basic enough question, but all the police have given us are these descriptors.

1) Australian 2) Dressed in a grey hoodie 3) Mustard trousers.

This is what the Internet has come up with from that information.

They might be right.

2. What did the robber write on the paper?

A logical answer that has been floating around the net is the promise of a a threat, such as "I'm wearing a bomb vest".

But not all theories on the Internet follow a prescribed flow of logic, so here is what the robber wrote, according to the Internet.

All equally plausible answers.

3. Where did the robber take off to?

Now, obviously the police doesn't have a concrete idea of where the man went, otherwise, they would have caught him. But the official statement stating he went 'in the direction of Chip Bee Gardens' was not enough for some netizens.

In fact, they were so tuned into the mindset of the robber that they predicted where exactly he would have fled to.

While it is understandable that an ongoing investigation would not be able to provide all the answers, the relative secrecy that surrounds this case will invite even more speculation till more answers are shared with the public.
