As a driver, one of the things you learn while getting your licence is to slow down when you are passing large stationary vehicles/ objects. This is because there may be persons or vehicles that will appear without warning and your view of them is obscured.

This was what happened in a video uploaded by Facebook user Suzy Adorabella Lyliana who posted that children should be alert and not dash out onto the road. She added the video was found on another person's Instagram.

The video showed footage from an in-car camera where a boy dashed out from behind the bus and the car had no time to avoid hitting him.

The rest of the video showed the boy conscious and attempting to get up before a crowd of passersby gathered around him with a few pointing at the driver.

In the span of 12 hours, the video has been viewed close to 400,000 times and shared by 16,000 people.
