Jermaine Pennant is an incredibly talented footballer, who has been very good with Tampines Rovers this season, scoring five goals so far and helping his team to second place in the S-league.
His goals include this beauty of a free kick.
What the former Liverpool star doesn't seem to be that great at, though, is deciphering the complexities of the recent Brexit.
Here is Pennant's tweet after his fellow Brits voted to leave the European Union.
Don't worry Pennant, we got your back.
Here is why there is no need to lose sleep over England's participation in future Euros.
Why England doesn't need to worry about Euro 2018
There are two very important reasons why England doesn't need to worry about Euro 2018, even with their recent decision to leave EU.
1. There is no Euro 2018
The Euros or UEFA European Championship is a footballing event involving European countries.
It is currently being held from June to July 2016, and much like the Olympics or the World Cup, it is a quadrennial event, meaning it is held once every four years.
So, the next Euro is in 2020 and will be held in a host of countries, including Germany, Italy, Romania and most of Europe.
The finals will actually be held in England itself, specifically London.
Which brings us to the second, incredibly important, point.
2. England is still part of Europe
There is a very big distinction between Europe and the EU. The EU is a group of 28 27 countries that operates as a cohesive economic and political block.
Europe is a continent.
There are many European countries that have not, by choice or restriction, joined the EU.
The list includes Albania, Turkey, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine. All of whom are participating in the 2016 Euros.
On his part, Pennant has since deleted the tweet and played it off as a joke.
He has also tweeted that he was just "fishing", "fishing" being baiting people to get mad -- but getting burnt in the process:
@pennant83 lmao don't worry, the bites are making you relevant again.
