The June holidays are finally here, which also means (short) vacation time.
But while we do wish everyone a happy, and well earned, getaway, please try to avoid doing these things after your quick break.
1. Mysteriously adopt foreign lingo
Go Australia for a week, mate what mate.
2. "Unintentionally" pick up their language as well
This kind of code-switching much worse than Singlish lor.
3. Feel compelled to post weeks/ months/ years of Instagram throwbacks
Every time must Whatsapp to confirm if they still in Singapore.
4. Somehow become a citizen of that country
Instead of Mari Kita, now they sing Marcha Real (Spanish national anthem).
5. Leave their heart there
This is a serious condition, someone better help them find it soon.
6. Pronounce foreign food "properly"
Simi sai, it's brass-chatter la.
7. Mispronounce local food "accidentally"
If no Lack-Seh, can i have some Go-Rang Pee-Sang instead?
