When Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong informed the public about Minister Heng Swee Keat's stroke on Facebook, he mentioned the presence of three doctors.

Heng collapsed earlier this afternoon at 5.34 pm during a Cabinet meeting.

Some netizens were curious about the the identity of the three doctors in the Cabinet.

According to this list on the Prime Minister's Office website, there are two medical doctors - Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, a cancer surgeon, and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, an ophthalmologist.

Ng shared on Facebook that he was at the scene and managed to resuscitate Heng.

So who was the third doctor?

Cabinet meetings are sometimes attended by Senior Ministers of State and Ministers of State.

An example is the one-year death anniversary of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

One will notice the presence of Senior Ministers of State Josephine Teo, Desmond Lee, Sim Ann, and Ministers of State Chee Hong Tat and Koh Poh Koon.

If we include the Ministers of State who attend Cabinet meetings, we will find three more doctors: Janil Puthucheary, Koh Poh Koon and Lam Pin Min.

However, we noticed that Koh, a colorectal surgeon, is away in China on a work trip.

Therefore, we can conclude that the third good doctor is likely to be Janil, who is a paediatrician.
