And we have confirmation: Singapore’s enfant terrible, 17-year-old Amos Yee, was indeed manhandled at Jurong Point.
A video showing the scuffle has surfaced on Petition to Free Amos Yee Facebook page after it was first uploaded onto YouTube:
Yee can be heard shouting “Help me” at various points, but it appears no one did.
The teen had posted his own shaky video of the scuffle on May 28, 2016, on his own YouTube channel, alleging that he was assaulted at Jurong Point.
He could be heard in his own video confronting a male person in a shop, saying: “You took a picture of me, didn’t you?”
That individual then looked as though he was heading in Yee’s direction.
Yee out on bail
Yee is currently out on S$5,000 bail after being slapped with charges of wounding the feelings of Christians and Muslims, as well as for defying orders to cooperate with police investigations on two occasions.
He has claimed trial to all his alleged offences.
