About 2.5 million adult Singaporeans will receive up to S$400 in cash under the 2023 Cost-of-Living (COL) Special Payment to provide relief for Singaporean households.

One is eligible for the 2023 COL Special Payment if you qualify for all of the following conditions:

  • You are Singaporean aged 21 years or above in 2023
  • Your Assessable Income for the Year of Assessment 2022 is S$100,000 or below
  • You do not own more than one property

Eligible Singaporeans can get between S$200 to S$400, depending on their assessable income in 2022.

About 850,000 senior Singaporeans will also receive up to S$300 in cash under the 2023 COL Seniors' Bonus.

This bonus aims to provide additional cost-of-living support for seniors.

The eligibility for the 2023 COL Seniors' Bonus is assessed using 2022's annual value of the property of the recipient's residential address.

How to check?

You can check if you're eligible by signing in to the Assurance Package official website.

After logging in with SingPass, the website will show which payment you're eligible for and how much you will be getting:

When will we get the payment?

Citizens are encouraged to link their NRIC to PayNow if they have accounts with the 10 participating banks by May 23.

They will be able to receive the payments as early as June 7.

Those without PayNow-NRIC linked bank accounts can update their bank account information at the AP official website by June 5, and will receive the payment by June 15.

Citizens who have not linked their NRICs to PayNow or provided their bank account details will receive the payment via GovCash.

They can withdraw their payments at OCBC ATMs island-wide by entering their Payment Reference Number (PRN), which will be sent to them from June 20, and NRIC, and after passing the facial verification.

They do not require an OCBC bank account to withdraw the payment at the OCBC ATMs.
