A woman was spotted stuck outside on a third floor window ledge at 317 Jalan Besar at around 9:30am on Apr. 8.
Shouting for someone
According to a post shared on SGTalk, a passer-by with the user name wendychan had first spotted the woman.
Chan approached the woman and asked if she required police assistance.
The woman allegedly said no and was shouting for someone.
Despite the woman's disagreements, Chan called the police, who arrived shortly to provide assistance.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was also called in and they were able to assist the woman and help her back to safety.
No injuries were reported
In a statement sent to Mothership, SCDF said that they received a call for assistance at 317 Jalan Besar at about 10:00am.
Upon arrival, a person was seen standing on a ledge outside the window of a third-floor unit. The SCDF conducted a forced entry into the unit.
Together with the help of the police, they were able to assist the person and help her to get back safely into the unit. There were no reported injuries.
