S Club 7 band member Paul Cattermole has died at the age of 46.
His death came weeks after the band announced a comeback tour, BBC reported.
He died on April 6 and the cause of his death is unknown.
A statement from his family and the pop group said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole."
There are no suspicious circumstances, it said.
The statement added: "While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul's family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time".
Cattermole's bandmates said they were "truly devastated".
"There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel," they wrote on social media.
"We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us."
Cattermole's bandmate and ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearritt reportedly "broke down" when she was given the shocking news and his bandmates have been left in "horror and disbelief", according to Mirror.
Cattermole had a relationship with Spearritt but they kept it a secret for six months before going public in 2001.
They carried on seeing each other when Cattermole quit the group in 2002, but broke up in 2006.
Cattermole was pictured just a day before his death.
He was seen taking a walk in the countryside.
He was seen wearing a dark jacket and t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
String of hits
S Club 7 were popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Their hits included "Reach", "Don't Stop Movin'", and "S Club Party".
They sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and also won two Brit Awards.
Could not adjust to life after the band
Five years after S Club broke up, Cattermole started performing across the UK with Bradley McIntosh and Jo O'Meara as S Club 3.
They did shows at nightclubs, universities, and holiday camps.
The group announced a reunion tour in February 2023.
A total of 11 dates at arenas in the UK and Ireland were scheduled for later this year.
The comeback concerts are to mark 25 years since the release of their first single, "Bring It All Back".
Mirror also reported that Paul struggled with adjusting to life after leaving the band and was declared bankrupt.
