An accident occurred along Ganges Ave on Apr. 16 after a Sembcorp garbage truck lost control, with one pedestrian narrowly avoiding the crash.
Dashcam footage of the incident was posted to Facebook page SG Road Vigilante, showing a white garbage truck abruptly swerving at a traffic junction.
The truck crashed into the divider and traffic light.
A woman crossing the junction thankfully managed to spot the incoming truck, and ran back to safety to the side of the road.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police shared that they were alerted to the accident at around 10:30am on Apr. 16.
The accident occurred along Ganges Avenue towards Alexandra Road.
No injuries were reported, and a 56-year-old male truck driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
