In case you've been living under a rock, it's been a damp albeit still hot couple of days.
But not without some recompense.
A beautiful double rainbow appeared in the wake of a lightning storm on Apr. 21 morning.
In particular, one photographer was fortunate enough to capture both phenomena in a single, stunning photo.
Simon Lim posted his photo in the Facebook group CloudSpotting & SkySpotting Singapore.
"I was taking photos of the rainbows with my handphone, when I saw a lightning flashed (sic) between the rainbows," he wrote in the caption.
"Set up my camera immediately. Happy that I managed to get this lightning flash as the sun was getting quite bright."
Lim told Mothership that the photo was taken at 7:30am, from his home in Marine Parade.
In response, fellow skyspotters called the shot "one in a million".
"Wonderful, strike Toto and Big Sweep top prizes together!" one commenter quipped.
Interestingly, this is not the first of Lim's photos to gain notice online.
In April 2022, his composite photo of a thunderstorm mesmerised the group.
Lim is part of a group of like-minded photographers called #sgstormtrackers, who capture photos of lightning storms.
He added that the group has been busy the past couple of days as it is "thunderstorm season".
April is one of the months in the year with a high incidence of lightning activity.
