Hari Raya Puasa falls on Saturday, April 22.

But the Causeway was already jam packed with vehicles on Tuesday, April 18.

An 11-second TikTok showed those on motorcycles at a standstill waiting to cross over from Singapore to Johor via the Woodlands Checkpoint.

The footage was shot by a motorcyclist at about 8:30pm that night.

"Jialat oh jialat now at Woodland custom! Confirm underwear wet today guys," the caption read.

There were easily several hundreds of motorcycles queuing up front to end.

To the left were a few lanes of cars and vans also stuck in the jam, but inching forward slightly.

At the 8-second mark of the video, there appeared to be flashes of lightning, which explained the video's caption -- rain was to be expected.

The video appeared to be a prelude to the traffic conditions on Thursday and Friday, which is the eve of the public holiday.

Traffic flow through Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints is expected to be heavy between April 20 and 24, 2023, from Thursday to Monday, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority previously said on April 18.

Earlier in April, vehicles were stuck on the Malaysia half of the Tuas Second Link for up to seven hours.
