April Fool's is upon us.

As always, companies in Singapore are taking the opportunity to market themselves by pranking consumers, so here are 10 of them that made it to this article.

1. Shacking up at SHACKbnb

Since Airbnb is not available here, Shake Shack Singapore has launched their version, SHACKbnb.

"The premium shack experience," as they called it, appears to be in a container hotel at Gardens by the Bay and has a view of Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

Of course, there will be customised bath towels with Shake Shack logos embodied on them to complete the experience.

The burger joint is giving out free stays to three customers and their plus ones.

It's very tempting but I'm good, thanks.

2. Boost's Kecil-Kecil Chili Smoothie

Making drinks spicy as a prank? Nothing new here.

Boost's new “Kecil-Kecil Chili Smoothie” will get your taste buds "buzzing until you fly to heaven".

Is this a yea or nay for you?

3. Zouk's spicy vodka

Yet another spicy drink.

Zouk Singapore's signature premix line Mala Fried Chicken flavour infused vodka is apparently crafted with the finest "Grade A" Sichuan peppercorn and chilli.

We can imagine there'll be more heads in the toilet bowl at the end of the night if this ever happens.

4. Meadow's Soy Sauce Ice Cream

Maybe we can cool off with Giant Singapore's newest addition to their ice cream lineup — Soy Sauce Ice Cream.

The sweetness of the ice creams perfectly complements the saltiness of the soya sauce and is available from Apr. 1 onwards, Giant Singapore said.

5. Ichiban's California Maki Sundae

California Maki Sundae might taste good, right? Or is it just us?

Ichiban Sushi has already called itself out on its April Fool's prank and is giving out free four pieces of Mini California Roll, with no minimum spend, today (Apr. 1).

All you need to do is flash the post and follow them on their Facebook or Instagram accounts.

This is available at all Ichiban Sushi outlets, but limited to the first 50 customers per outlet.

Each table can only redeem it once, and for dine-in only.

6. Aetos Skyrangers

Aetos Holdings has launched their new Aerial Protectors, the Skyrangers Unit (ASU).

It's equipped with "ultra-high quality camera lens" that can zoom up to 100 times, so officers can conduct their surveillance from the skies. For security purposes, of course.

Not to mention the solar-powered jet packs that enable flight. Nice try.

7. The Happiest Meal by Durex

The Happiest Meal comes with nuggets, fries and an "invisible" drink.

There are also "special wrappers" in the set.

You can redeem it free today (Apr. 1) when you say "Durex gives me The Happiest Meal" to their brand ambassadors at these locations:

  • Guardian at Marina Bay Sands
  • Watsons at Bugis Junction

Only fro 2pm-8pm on Apr. 1, though—more details can be found here.

8. NTUC's KID-sized truffle potato chips

We sure hope this one is real. Image via NTUC/ Facebook.

This limited edition 1.8kg bag is available only at FairPrice Xtra VivoCity today (Apr.1).

But uh, it may have backfired just a little.

9. Gong Cha's Stinky Tofu Soy Milk Tea

Fancy stinky tofu in your foamy cup of soy milk tea?

If you're in doubt, know that these are made-to-order. Fresh.

10. Takagi Ramen's Tonkotsu Coriander Ramen

Coriander pranks are apparently not over yet.

If you were fooled, I have nothing to say.
