A 24-year-old woman was found dead at the foot of Sim Lim Tower on Friday, Mar. 3.
In response to queries from Mothership, the police said they received a call for assistance along Jalan Besar at around 9:35pm.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play. Police investigations are ongoing.
A photo of a police tent on the ramp leading to the building's car park was posted on Instagram by user @lutshashi, but the post has since been removed.
Speaking to Mothership, the man said there were about five police cars at the scene when he was there at about 2:30am.
The police were seen at the sixth floor, where the car park was located.
Opened in the 1980s, Sim Lim Tower houses many electronic stores within it's 15 floors.
It also has nightlife establishments.
