A sad day for sandwich fans as Park Bench Deli announced its departure from the food scene after eight years in operation.
Sudden departure
Park Bench Deli announced its departure through an Instagram post on Mar. 6.
In the post, the deli thanked its customers for their support.
It also dedicated a segment to one Uncle Ng Jin Yong for "taking care and watching over us all this time".
However, it looks like this isn't the end for Park Bench Deli.
In the post, it also said: "PBD Singapore is closed, but it's not over yet. Stay tuned."
There were no specific reasons provided for the closure.
Mothership has reached out to Park Bench Deli for comments.
