McDonald's Singapore recently dropped a trendy puffer bag that looks just like McGriddle's sausage patties, exclusive to its Canberra outlet.

It was released today, Mar. 9, at 7am.

There were only 200 bags available and all have been fully redeemed, according to McDonald's website.

The puffer bag was available for redemption via every purchase of the Breakfast McGriddles 2x Value Meal.

Carousell scalpers back

Perhaps due to its limited availability, some residents of the country have started selling the bags on Carousell.

As of time of writing, there are nine of such listings.

The lowest was priced at S$70, while the highest was a staggering S$288.

In the S$288 listing, the seller included a rather fancy description of the puffer bag, attempting to highlight its traits like "it won't look tacky" or "perfect for everyday use".

Other listings capitalised on the fact that the bag was a "limited" item.

Mixed reactions towards bag design

Though it was snatched up within a few hours of its release, McCustomers initially expressed mixed opinions towards the design of the bag when it was first announced.

Some also lamented why it was only available at McDonald's Canberra outlet, while one predicted what was coming:
