Not so long time ago in Singapore, the Mandalorians, Jedis, troopers, Jawas and Tuskens put aside their differences and held a gathering at a mall.
Some Star Wars fans showed up at Funan in full costume on Wednesday (Mar. 1) night to celebrate the third season premiere of Disney+ hit show "The Mandalorian".
As expected, Din Djarin (a.k.a The Mandalorian himself) and Grogu (a.k.a Baby Yoda if you're uncultured) made an appearance:
Other Mandalorians from different clans showed up too, including Boba Fett and Bo-Katan.
The Jedis also turned up. (A Mandalorian and a Jedi? They'll never see it coming.)
You can also spot some troopers, Jawas, and Tuskens.
Why were they at Funan?
From now till Mar. 31, Funan will showcase three localised and immersive displays that bring popular characters and elements from "The Mandalorian" to life.
At the Action City store, an electric visual pop-up of Mando and The Child can be seen.
Fans can also pick up Star Wars merchandise and enjoy discounts at the store.
Funan's 100 metre underground pedestrian link at Basement 2 is transformed into an immersive zone with visuals and projections inspired by "The Mandalorian".
Mural artwork by local artist Zul Othman are also featured.
Later in the month, there will be a special video projected on the 13-metre high kinetic wall located at Funan's entrance facade, greeting visitors as they enter the mall.
The video will be played every 30 minutes and will feature the titular character and the show's iconic line, "This is the Way".
Seems like the Force is strong at Funan.
