If you have friends who are Manchester United fans, it's time to check on them.

On Mar. 6, 2023 (SGT), Liverpool thrashed the Red Devils 7-0 at Anfield.

This was the first time Man United have lost by seven goals in any competition since over 90 years ago when they lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Sky News,.

United gained control of the game in the first half, and had some good chances.

But after Dutch winger Cody Gakpo scored his side's first goal in the 43rd minute, it all went downhill for United.

By the 50th minute, United was down 3-0, with goals from Gakpo and Uruguay's Darwin Núñez.

Mohamed Salah extended Liverpool's lead in the 66th and 83rd minute.

After his second goal of the game, Salah has now become Liverpool's record Premier League goal scorer, with 129 goals in six seasons.

In the 88th minute, Roberto Firmino sealed his side's victory as he slotted the ball into the back of the net from a Salah assist.

Liverpool is now fifth on the Premier League table, still in the chase for the Champions Leagues spot with only three points behind fourth place Tottenham Hotspurs.

Meanwhile, United remain third on the table.

This loss comes after the team won their first trophy since 2017 with the Carabao Cup win against Newcastle United at Wembley on Feb. 27 (SGT).
