In case you missed it, LiHO TEA had a pretty big promotion on Mar. 25.
Customers were invited to bring "any size of reusable bottle" to fill with signature Da Hong Pao tea for just S$1.
Some people took full advantage of the "any size" part.
S$1 LiHO in wine glass
TikTok user @nothingaboutsteven's friends went, "Challenge accepted," and brought three gigantic wine glasses to the party.

They called them cups, though.

Each wine glass was about 1/4 the height of the person filling it.

The LiHO employee also apparently stayed true to the brand's promise: "As long as there are no wastage (sic), we will fill it to the brim!"

Her face says it all.
According to the poster, it took 15 of his friends to finish the drink.

Just Singaporean things
While @nothingaboutsteven's friend group was applauded for their out-of-the-box thinking, there were also people who felt that it went too far.
Some people called them "cheap" and remarked that they were holding up the queue.

Some sympathised with LiHO employees.

@nothingaboutsteven maintained that it was all in good fun.
Plus, it helped with LiHO's marketing.

For better or for worse, the TikTok user wasn't the only creative thinker out there.
Special shoutout to the dudes who brought a whole drink dispenser to collect the tea.

Hope they didn't spill any of it.
