About 950,000 HDB households will receive their quarterly GST Voucher (GSTV)- U-Save rebates and GSTV - Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates in April 2023.

Each eligible household will receive U-Save vouchers in the range of S$440 to S$760 in the financial year 2023 starting in April.

The amount each household is entitled to depends on the flat type.

This amount is the same as that in FY2022, which is double the households’ regular U-Save vouchers.

The rebate for fees for estate maintenance, also known as S&CC, ranges from 1.5 to 3.5 months.

In total, households will receive about S$720 million in U-Save and S&CC rebates for the financial year of 2023.

The GST Voucher payments comprise cash and MediSave, U-Save for utilities and S&CC rebate.

This financial year’s U-Save payouts and S&CC amount to eight to 10 months’ worth of utilities bills for the average household living in a one- or two-room HDB flat, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said on Mar. 31.

For the average household living in a three- or four-room flat, the payouts are about four to six months’ worth of utilities bills.

These rebates will be disbursed in April, July, October 2023 and January 2024.

The GSTV- S&CC rebates will be directly credited into the household's S&CC accounts managed by their respective town councils.

The first payout in April will consist of S$55 to S$95 in U-Save vouchers, and 0.5 or one month in S&CC rebate.
