Photos and videos taken around 6:40pm showed the triple Marina Bay Sands towers surrounded by fog and low-lying clouds.
Foggy conditions happen when there is a downpour and temperatures fall by several degrees.
In this case, Singapore experienced continuous rainfall since noon in some areas.
The four-day outlook has the weatherman predicting that temperatures will plunge to as low as 23°C, with afternoon showers.

Foggy conditions are not new in Singapore, but they happen only occasionally.
The previous time foggy conditions occurred in Singapore was on Jan. 24.
