For the next week or so, Singapore's parliamentarians will be taking part in the Committee of Supply (COS) debates.
It is a yearly affair wherein each ministry presents its plans and the funds that it'll need to carry them out.
But why should you pay attention?
Well many of the policies being discussed have far-reaching effects on everyday life in Singapore and for Singaporeans.
Take for example the Ministry of Defence's decision to relax exit permit requirements for NSMen — from six months to 12.
The debates also present an opportunity for opposition politicians or PAP backbenchers to ask questions about official policy positions and have them debated in an official forum.
So for your convenience, we're collating all our COS coverage in one place and will be updating it every day with the latest stories from Parliament.
