Singapore reported 13,158 new Covid-19 cases as of 12pm on Sunday (Mar. 6).

Here's a breakdown of the cases:

Locally transmitted cases: 13,018

Imported cases: 140

Deaths: 5

The country has recorded 832,821 Covid-19 cases and 1,078 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

ART cases

New infections detected via ART: 11,493 (11,408 local cases + 85 imported cases)

Weekly infection growth rate: 0.95 (the same as 0.95 the day before)

A figure below 1 indicates that the number of new weekly Covid-19 cases is falling.

This is the fifth day in a row that the weekly infection rate dropped below 1 since Jan. 3.

Hospitalisations

Patients in hospital: 1,437

Requiring oxygen supplementation: 190

In ICU: 47
