An emaciated dog with its fur missing is in need of a caring home.

Facebook group Chained Dog Awareness in Singapore (CDAS) posted about the dog, Bobby, on November 26.

The dog was found wandering the streets before he was picked up by a kind passer-by. According to the photos, he was extremely emaciated and his back was missing a large portion of fur.

It seems that Bobby, who appears to be either a bulldog or a pug, is in this state because of malnutrition.

Thankfully, blood tests done at a vet clinic found nothing seriously wrong with him.

According to CDAS, Bobby is a quiet and well-behaved dog. He has also been trained to use the pee pad.

Several people responded to the Facebook post by donating money to cover the vet fees.

CDAS later updated that Bobby's medical fees have been fully covered, and that there was even a leftover sum to purchase food and supplements.

Nonetheless, others have also offered to buy supplies, as well as grooming products like shampoo and conditioner for the canine.

A few offered to adopt Bobby to nurse him back to health.
