Popular Hong Kong bakery Kee Wah opening 1st S'pore outlet at ION Orchard

Kee Wah Bakery is a renowned Hong Kong bakery that is known for its traditional Chinese baked goods including mooncakes and egg rolls.

The 83-year-old bakery has over 100 outlets located in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and the U.S.

Soon, the popular bakery will be coming to our shores.

First outlet in Singapore

The first Singapore outlet will be located at the basement four level of ION Orchard.

According to 8 Days, one can expect most of Kee Wah's bakes at the upcoming outlet like egg rolls, pineapple cakes and peanut candy.

And of course, there will be Kee Wah's adorable panda cookies.

No wife cakes yet

One thing you can't find in the Singapore menu, however, is the wife cakes.

According to a representative from Kee Wah, the wife cakes won't be available in Singapore for now as these have to be freshly baked.

While there is no official opening date has been set, the first outlet will probably open by Nov. 2021.

Meanwhile, one can try to get Kee Wah's mooncakes at Takashimaya's mooncake fair.
