187 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 113 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 191 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Thursday (Sep. 2).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 67,991.

187 locally transmitted cases, 113 unlinked

There are 187 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection.

74 cases are linked, and of these, 56 have already been place on quarantine while 18 were detected through surveillance.

113 cases are currently unlinked.

Amongst the cases are 3 seniors above 70 years who are unvaccinated/ partially vaccinated, and are at risk of serious illness.

Four imported cases

In addition, there are four imported cases who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

One was detected upon arrival in Singapore, while two developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
