The food section at Yuhua Market & Hawker Centre at 347 Jurong East Avenue 1 will be closed from Aug. 5 to 19, 2021.
All Yuhua workers quarantined and tested
However, Jurong-Clementi Town Council said the market will remain open.

The two-week-long closure was announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Jurong-Clementi Town Council (JRTC) on Aug. 4.
This will allow for deep cleaning of the hawker centre's premises after seven Covid-19 cases were detected at the location.
All individuals who work in the hawker centre have been placed on quarantine, and will be tested.
Grace Fu, environment minister and MP for Yuhua SMC said that stallholders, hawker assistants, and cleaners will be tested regularly through the Rostered Routine Testing.
Members of the public who had visited the market and hawker centre between July 21 and Aug. 4 can get themselves tested for Covid-19 for free and can find out more here.
MOH also advised visitors of Yuhua Market & Hawker Centre to monitor their health closely, and minimise social interactions as far as possible for 14 days from their date of visit or interaction.
Should they feel unwell, they are encouraged to see a doctor immediately.
